FishCAM
If not the most profound experience in the world, watching a fishy swim about might at least help take the edge off after a miserable day at the office.

Unfortunately for the fish, our aquarium seems to be the place they come to die. Frankly, we don’t know what keeps killing them (aside from the tank being on the small size).

At any given time, there are also a few snails in the tank to suck slime and amuse the fish.
To watch the fish, you’ll need Adobe’s Flash plug-in. Dark, nasty image? Switch on the light! (But turn it off when you leave, okay?) And sign the guestbook!

Things that can affect your viewing experience:
  • If you have a lousy connection to the Internet, the FishCAM won’t work too well. It really requires a high-speed connection.
  • We’re limited to supporting 10 concurrent viewers.
  • If the light goes on and off rapidly, two or more viewers are probably fighting over it.
  • If the boys are playing a processor-intensive game on the computer hosting the FishCAM, performance will suffer.

Please note that the FishCAM is unavailable between 10:00PM and 7:00AM on the east coast of the U.S. The fish needs its rest. (And we might be in our underpants!)
