The lists below include music from both our CDs, and lower bit rate mp3s files we've stumbled across over the years. Everything is on the hard drive. (Playing a physical CD is
so late-20th Century!)
The CDs were ripped in a lossless format (FLAC) to preserve their fidelity. Each row in the CDs volume represents a physical CD with the exception of some items of the Classical genre. In the case of classical CDs, if more than one composition was included on the CD, the ripped files were tagged so that each composition from the CD was assigned its own “virtual” album. This simplified navigating the music from these particular CDs on the
Squeezebox.
The exceptions to the exception are the few classical CDs that are true compliation discs, and they are listed as such.
These volumes are refreshed daily from our databases at Healhovel Central, so they’re usually pretty much up-to-date.
