Big-Time Vanity Project
When Jon ripped the CD collection to the hard drive, he scanned the covers, as well. Not being very forward-thinking, he scanned them kind of small. Years later when he embarked on another project, he realized he was going to need bigger cover art. The music collection was again summoned to the scanner.

By this time, the CDs had migrated to various points around the house, and a handful of them could not be located. (Our house is pretty disorganized.) Fortunately, Googling retrieved suitable cover art for all but five of the missing items.

Now, missing the cover art from a mere five albums may not sound like a big deal, but it greatly distressed Jon. Until his ego kicked in, that is, and he realized that he could simply replace the missing art with cover art of his own making.

Jon can’t take all the credit, however; several covers incorporated great photography from the individuals credited below.
1 Brucato, John (and Banksy?). B-More Grafitti, detail, 2008.
2 Benjamin Pfeiffer. New York City Lights, detail, 2004.
